Threaded pulsations is an ongoing, interactive piece manifested by the unconscious action of the viewer’s bodies -their heartbeat. It is made to reconfigure the act of living- delineate it’s sense of linearity- and augment the perception of our existence in ways that call attention to our infolding and co-emergent relationship with others in a collective biography. Threaded pulsations, as the name proceeds itself, is a textile working or production, that can otherwise be associated as a digital artwork. Digital in the retrospect that it is made and presented using technology, allowing the audience a certain amount of control over the final product. Ironically enough, you will find within this brief talk there is no documentation whatsoever of the finished device in use. The reason being, is it’s refinement is yet accomplished and it’s output yet defined. However, what is know, is that the physical textile, what i call ‘livings’ are the archives itself.
